Flipboard app review Update 4/29/16: I have completely stopped using Flipboard because of the lack of split screen multitasking. I have switched to apple news. Its too late for me to switch back to Flipboard now, because I am used to Apple news now since iOS 9 split screen feature. If you guys are trying to go out of business, then just pull the app from the App Store. There needs to be a video pop out feature. When I am watching a video currently I cannot surf other pages while the video is playing. By adding the feature, if a video is playing, it should pop out to one of the corners of the screen so I can continue to browse other articles. Also, please add a night mode similar to how Ibooks has the night mode. This would really help my eyes. Still no split screen

Since the last update a few days ago I am unable to launch Flipboard or even delete it. Its totally locked out and the icon is grayed out. This is on an iPad Air.

Pop-up are ruining the function of this app.

Flipboard has always been an amazing reading experience. I have it installed on pretty much every device I own and use it everyday. As others have mentioned, I do wish the speed content was delivered and the refresh rate were a little faster. The prediction engine needs a bit of work as well, but all in all this is a great app with a great foundation.

Ads constantly crash the app now. Cant make it through most articles.

App use to be great. Barely useable anymore. Way too many video pop up adds blocking the content. Just had 3 pop ups in 3 seconds. Ridiculous.

This app is not working well, so I have had to lower my rating substantially. Threads do not always updated, or are invisible. Please fix. I miss my Flipboard. Ive tried Apple News, but I use Flipboard consistently. The ability to respond to peoples comments is addicting. It would be nice if newer comments were at the top so that constant scrolling to the bottom werent necessary. I dont like how I am taken out of Flipboard 20 % of the time, as I use the app also to have a more comfortable reading font size. In any case, no apps perfect, and I do like the integration of Force Touch; I look forward to a widget soon, surprised its not there.

I am a former Zite user. Every so often I check if this app has been updated, hoping for something major to entice me. Nothing. I dont use Flipboard because, frankly, theres plenty of better apps out there. Flipboard hasnt really done anything in years to make itself stand out. I would have thought after spending millions to acquire Zite they would be doing something different with their app by now. Nope. Wrong. I Dont get it.

I love the interface and flexibility of the content. It doesnt help with my goal of reducing procrastinating because Im always flipping through it

....and Goodbye Flipboard. Thanks to Flipboard, my most favorite news site, ZITE, will disappear from the web Dec. 12th. Dont believe it when Flipboard says you can transfer ALL your favorite ZITE news, websites, BECAUSE you cant. It seems that only the more liberal news websites will move to Flipboard, but no Conservative news websites will make the transfer. And, while on Flipboard, I cannot even search for, and find them. So long Flipboard, and hello Feedly and Apple news.

So many topics to choose from. Much better than Apple news. Highly recommended.

Intuitive, well designed, simple, awesome. Fun, easy to personalize, and as social as you want to be. The only thing that itches me a bit: you cant copy text directly from the articles in the app (you have to open it in Safari first) but otherwise totally essential.

Better than any regular newspaper out there!

I love Flipboard for how easy and customized it is. I follow certain news sources along with magazine and blog posts on topics I have interest in. Flipboard organizes it all and I can quickly see updates. I can the read an article or create my own magazine for later reference. Love it!

Its easy to use, and fun for building/sharing magazines. One problem—and its irritating: muted channels still show up in the feed. If developers dont remedy this I will delete this app. Its not fun digging through news and sources you muted or blocked. Please address this.

Sufficient adds to keep it afloat without being overbearing. Has become my #1 app for long read information.
