What happened to Flipboard

I like Flipboard before but Somehow the latest version shows a weird interface of showing things in a separate smaller window on the left
Also, it crashes often plus it does not show the items because it fails to reload
..I would not recommend this to anybody until they release a better version...or get the older versions..
